At WearColour we are conscious of and care for the environment. We demand high standards of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), not only from ourselves but from all our partners.
As an active lifestyle company with a focus on snow sports, we try to minimise our impact on nature and our contribution to global warming so that future generations can enjoy the outdoors as much as we do.
We encourage employees to take public transport or use a bicycle to commute to work, and therefore have always chosen office locations with good public transport connections. At our office, we do not purchase meat products, and try to source organic, local food as much as possible. We try to use video or telephone meetings for most meetings with our partners.
We export as much as possible by water, rail, or rain instead of air.
We use recycled polyester in our high-end product line, and we want to use it as much as possible.
We use an organic Durable Water-Repellent (DWR) finish, BIONIC-FINISH® ECO, on or water-repellent clothes, instead of toxic chemicals like most DWR finishes contain.
We produce our clothes in Sweden, Turkey, and China, and distribute worldwide. So, we set demands on all our partners, based on United Nations (UN) conventions, International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, and Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) codes of conduct. We do not allow child labour or discrimination of any form.
We design clothes to last, and always have colours and patterns in our new collections that can match older products for this.
We test all our clothes ourselves, and send them to our family of ambassadors for testing as well. We demand the best from our clothes, and only release products we are happy with, as we are our own customers.
Do not wash your clothes too often, many times is it enough to air your clothes, or hand rinse them and allow them to air dry. Try to fix broken clothes, rather than buying new ones. When you do wash your clothes, use an environmentally friendly washing powder.
Live a healthy active lifestyle, and care for our planet so future generations can enjoy it as much as you do.
